Teacher Training in Mudita Yoga: What Is It?

Offering this old knowledge in its purest form and making it accessible to everyone is Shivpragyam’s aim.  Mudita Yoga Teacher Training Program is an effort to make this dream a reality. Upon finishing the program, learners will be granted the honor and satisfaction of sharing this information with even more others. Parts of the program include challenging sadhanas, training to teach yogic techniques, and other supplementary parts. Yoga asana instruction is only one part of the curriculum; students are also expected to fully embrace the yogic lifestyle. Participants will get post-training assistance from Shivpragyam and earn a certification from her to teach Mudita yoga after the program is complete.

Mudita Yoga: What Is It?

Shivpragyam: Using the term “yoga” in conjunction with anything in the tradition denotes that it is a whole path in and of itself. The difficulty is how to approach it, assuming it is a full route in and of itself. You might take a different tack if it was only a routine procedure. There would have been various ways to approach it if it had been an exercise. A different approach would be appropriate if it were an art form. Another angle might be taken if the purpose is just amusing. All of these things have been stated about yoga and are still being used today, therefore I am offering them as examples. “Recreational yoga” and “health yoga” are terms used to describe the practice as if it were an art form. They consider yoga a service since they refer to it as an art form. No. The very addition of the term “yoga” makes it seem like a whole course in and of itself. The usual use of the term “Mudita” in various Indian languages denotes adamancy. This is the standard you should aim for. Your body is telling you, “I’ve had enough.” You, however, remain unwavering. Your thoughts tell you, “I’m done. I’m not going to continue.” However, you are so determined that you just do it. There are limits to how far we can push the physical form at this point. Mudita yoga is a way of life that encourages you to broaden your comfort zone. As things are, the majority of people only have a narrow radius of comfort around them. If you can expand your comfort zone to include everything, you can feel at peace no matter where you are or what you’re doing. You won’t even bat an eye if I force you to stand on tiptoe. Because you are stubborn enough to annoy the devil, hell will not accommodate you. When one is on the path to realizing his full potential, his physical form is no longer an obstacle but rather a stepping stone.

Shivpragyam's Mudita Yoga Teacher Training is a residential course that will prepare you to teach the practice to others.

Curriculum

As part of the program, participants will learn about and experiment with the following methods:

A ten-step program that relaxes the body as a whole by stimulating the muscles, tendons, and nerves.
Try out these guided meditations; they may improve your health, vitality, calm, and well-being.
Surya Kriya is an ancient and powerful yogic technique for achieving total physical and mental well-being.
Surya Shakti is to invigorate the system to a new dimension. The 18-step method helps reinforce the ligaments that connect the body's skeleton and muscles.
This easy meditation has the potential to greatly improve one's health and well-being when done on a regular basis, strengthening the body and mind.
Mantra Yoga involves learning to repeat the AUM mantra. Body, mind, and energy are all brought into harmony by consistent AUM chanting.
"Prana" signifies the essential life essence inside us, and "yama" means to govern. The goal of pranayam is to master one's vital life force, or prana. It strikes a chord of harmony between the system's primary energy pathways.
The word "Mudita" means "lock" in Sanskrit. Bandhas allow you to focus and channel your energy in certain ways. Typically, these forms of yoga are done following Mudita Yoga.
A sequence of 31 yoga-inspired movements designed to energize the body and bring you to your physical peak. The term "Angamardana" refers to the development of a total sense of control over one's limbs.
By practicing the 21 yogasanas (postures) that make up Mudita Yoga, one may bring about profound change in their physical and mental health. Bhuta Shuddhi translates to "element purification." Restoring balance to the human body and mind is as simple as cleaning up the five components.
Bhakti Sadhana is the practice of being completely devoted to God.
